David is Manager of the Royalty Fishery on the Hampshire Avon, England’s most famous mixed game and coarse angling venue. He is a qualified and licensed level two coach in both game and coarse fishing and is a member of The Game Angling Instructors Association, National Federation of Anglers and Professional Anglers Association. David is currently the only qualified coarse angling coach in the Hardy Academy. Tuition is available on the Royalty Fishery for both individuals and small groups.

 David specialises in chalk stream, salmon and sea trout angling. Tuition is available on double and single handed fly casting, the heavy nymph, and all forms of bait fishing. Coarse fishing tuition includes trotting for roach, dace, chub, grayling and barbel.

Fly Casting Tuition

Fly casting tuition for novices and the experienced angler wishing to progress. Both single and double handed rod tuition including all the traditional and modern casts.

Flyfishing Days

   Flyfishing arranged on both River and Stillwater for Salmon Trout and Grayling.  Days are arranged complete with guide.Tackle hire, tuition, and picnic lunches are available.

Coarse Fishing

Guided days trotting for Barbel, Chub and Roach on the River Avon. Special mid winter sessions. Tuition for juniors wishing to improve their fishing skills. Float fishing, ledgering and basic pole techniques taught by licensed coach with First Aid and Child Protection certificates.
